If you need a manual with a diving planner, don't buy this product

This product does not come with the DVD, which was expected, but it was also missing the diving planner. The diving planner is also needed for the exam portion and is typically included in the manual (helps you calculate how long you can be underwater). A classmate had an extra one that I could use to study and take the exam with, but do not assume you will be so lucky if you are planning to take the exam with just this manual.

If you do not need the DVD or the planner, then this product is perfect. The book was in great condition & had knowledge tests at the end of each chapter to prepare you for the open water exam.

The verbiage on "It's Not Complicated" speaks to my logical brain on so many levels. "I Still Want It" brought me to tears and stopped me in my tracks emotionally so that I had to put my kindle down and pick it up the next day. The emotional and mental upheaval didn't just stop there. Reading this reminded me of reading 'The Prophet' by Kahlil Gibran. I couldn't rush through though I wanted to. I had to take my time and let it all marinate. I may have to read it through a few more times, actually. Well done. Well done.

The first chapter alone is worth the price. Don't let the age of the book scare you. The wisdom and comfort of the message is timeless. If you are going through difficult times and trials you will find wisdom in Cuyler's words. He writes in a time when life was short and most families knew what it was to lose children because of disease. Cuyler lost both a son and a daughter.

This is one of those books that's comfort food for the soul. It may not state anything that the Christian hasn't heard before, but it has a wonderful way reminding us of the faithfulness of God and our dependence on him. It was a delightful, nourishing read.

Make no mistake, I love these books, having read the entire series and happy to spend the slightly more than average list price for any followups. That being said, as with most litrpg books (many being translated from Russian no less) there are quite a few errors in formatting, grammar, and spelling that spellcheck simply isn't going to fix. As a fan of the genre it's something to live with, but reading the phrase "Hephaestus never fails to disappoint" after more than four books touting their general amazingness caused a serious disconnect for me. It' a very small thing, and plot irrelevant but it damaged my immersion which, I believe, is something no author wants. Please keep writing, I enjoy your stories immensely, but perhaps using a small portion of the higher asking price for a true proofreader would be worth it to keep your readers involved.
