Whether the focus of a reader's interest is called sustainable tourism or eco-heritage tourism or one of the many subtle distinctions surrounding those, this slim volume is a quick read on the subject while succinctly introducing the breadth of concerns. Plus, there are case studies presented throughout the chapters to show how sustainable tourism is being successfully practiced in a variety of locales. It provides an overview of the subject during a quick read.
While neither a comprehensive text on the management of sustainable tourism projects or a simple how-to, this is a worthy orientation and addition to one's library for those engage in local sustainable initiatives.
